The Future of Mobility : Small Footprint Electric Drivable Device
The face of urban conveyance is shifting from machines that sit on the street towards devices you can store on your porch. The current set of transportation options leave room for use cases where a bicycle is not optimal and a motor scooter unnecessary. While auto makers are looking 50 years outward we see urban concentration requirements as a now issue. Not everybody dreams of spending $30K plush for a automobile that sits more than 98% of the time. The Tinkersmiths macropods are low energy mobility shuttles built on electric wheelchair assemblies. Therefore for they can travel on a sidewalk or even maneuver indoors without scuffing the floor.
Tinkersmiths members are very excited to begin production of this awesome electric urban pod prototype. Built on an electric wheelchair chassis, this device should be sidewalk legal. Indoor usage possible as wheelchair wheels are designed to to harm an interior floor. Most affordable model will come as a flat pack designed kit containing the floor, three outer gussets and seat. End user can inexpensively purchase used wheel chairs on Craigslist for the drive system. Second option we supply the drive system and unit assembled that is ready to drive. Last option which can be added later is for the shell enclosure to be used in the rain or colder weather.
Some of human kind cares about lowering their carbon footprint. Why not turn a few heads in the process.
